HOW TO MEASURE

Perfect fitting clothing starts with perfect measurements. Here,we'll show you which measurements are needed and how to correctly take them.

Note that the most important measurements depend on the garment you are shopping for; for example, for a waist trainer, your waist size is most relevant. Torso length can matter in garments like full-body shapers that go from your bust down to your legs.

BUST- For your bust measurement, please take a tape measure and place it around your bust, the tape measure must be in a straight line and going over the fullest part of your bust. The tape should not be too tight or too loose, tighten it firmly and see the number determined by the tape. That will be your bust measurement. Your bust measurement is useful if you're shopping for tops, dresses, waist trainers, full body shapewear, latex vests and more! It's also useful for bras and lingerie but bra measurements may vary as both bust and bandwidth measurements are required for accurate bra sizing.

WAIST- For your waist measurement, please take a tape measure and place it around your waist, going over (just above) your belly button. The tape should not be too tight or too loose, tighten it firmly and see the number determined by the tape. That will be your waist measurement. Remember breathe normally while measuring your waist and do not hold your breath or suck in your abdomen. Below is an example of how its done.

TORSO LENGTH 1 ( MAINLY FOR WAIST TRAINERS/CINCHERS-  Your torso length is the length of your body from directly under your bust  to your hip bone. To find this measurement, please take a tape measure and place it in a straight vertical line from directly under your bust to the top of your hip bone. The tape should lie flat against your body and be in a straight line, please ensure you are standing straight and don't bend over or slouch while measuring, hold the tape firmly, the resulting number will be your torso measurement. This measurement is useful when purchasing a waist trainer and you want a trainer with a proper length for your height.

TORSO  LENGTH 2 - For this measurement you may need to enlist the help of someone, as you run measuring tape full circle from your shoulder at the neck, over the fullest part of your bust, down between your legs and back to the starting point.

Knowing your torso length can be very helpful, particularly with full-body shapers, swimwear and dresses where necessary.

HIPS- Measure the fullest part of your hips, which should be about 8 inches below your natural waist. Keeping the tape level, measure the fullest part. Simply take the tape measure and place it around your hips (in its most prominent (broadest part). The tape should not be too loose or too tight. The resulting number is the number of your hip measurement. Your hip measurement is useful when shopping for pants, dresses, jeans, panties, full body shapewear or tights and leggings.
